In partnership with Luton Libraries, we are bringing reading to life with our free Summer Reading Garden in Central Square. Designed as a welcoming, calm space for families, it’s the perfect place to relax, discover new books and enjoy time together on your visit.
Browse a selection of books provided by Luton Libraries, take part in free family-friendly activities on selected dates, and spark a love of reading in young minds. The garden also supports the Summer Reading Challenge from The Reading Agency, helping children stay engaged with reading throughout the school holidays. The Summer Reading Garden is open daily from Tuesday 28 July to Friday 28 August, 11am–5pm, and on selected dates we will be running additional activities.
